Welcome to the
Winter Seasonal Qigong Tuning
Water Wheel
Video Series
We want to thank Karen Kohlhaas for directing and editing the Roots and Branches 5 Element DVD. Her contribution to these beautiful videos has greatly enhanced our ability to share this work with people all over the world.
Indications
The duration of the work is a minimum of 10 minutes to an optimum of 21 minutes. The given times are a recommendation. You can adjust the timing to your need or preference.
- Embrace the TAO position – one minute
- Constant Bear – three minutes
- Kidney Yin/Waterfall and Kidney Yang/Fountain below the feet – five minutes
- Kidney massage 49 times (as it is in the video clip)
- Embrace the TAO position – one minute
Holding the kidney yin and kidney yang positions generates qi. Hold until you experience some burning in the thighs. You can also shift back and forth from position to position. Listen to your body and do what works for you each day.
You can use a timer (like the Insight Timer app). You can work longer if that feels good. It is all about letting go of stress and pressure and strengthening your inner core.
Keep track of your health and well-being:
