Having practiced Tai Chi Chuan since 1998, I experienced the benefits of the slow rhythmic movements as incredibly grounding and centering. On the other hand, working as an architect and environmental consultant was a source of stress – managing workload, deadlines, fees, clients, etc. One gave me balance, and one unbalanced me.
In 2012 I had the opportunity to study Five- Element Acupuncture at the College of Five Element Acupuncture in Dublin, Ireland. My studies continued at the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida, where I gained my Masters in Acupuncture, before moving to New York.
I love practicing acupuncture. It truly is a gift to be able to help people, whatever reason they come to see me. Each person is unique, and I get to choose acupuncture points specific to their needs, and the underlying causes of their issues. As treatments progress, not only do symptoms improve, but the layers concealing our authentic selves fall away, revealing our true nature.
Acupuncture can support us in living happier, healthier lives. It can unblock energy stuck in a painful, stiff shoulder, settle a dodgy stomach, help us move forward when we feel stuck, and even lift our spirits when we are down. I encourage you to get in touch to learn how it can help you.
