Here on last Saturday (November 5, 2016), our White Crane Tuning start day, is our class on Acupuncture & Qigong for Fertility, taught for academic / Licensing credit. ( it was even larger some people had to leave to catch trains). we taught this move in class and invited them to join our Tuning so that they could feel in themselves the change that would happen to their patients.
As you can see we use a life-size projection of our Qigong DVD for instruction, a fantastic teaching Aid ! We emphasized the whitecrane posture for increasing Chi before conception . Especially useful with all of the new Western techniques for pregnancy . While the West can create a fertile egg and implant it, there is often not enough energy in the mother to retain the egg . The British have kept track, and one study shows that adding acupuncture and Qigong increases the chances of a full-term pregnancy by 65% .
Fertility clinics sometimes offer one session of acupuncture before implantation. Of course much more is needed but this is a start. Are any of our teachers out there brave enough to contact local fertility clinics and offered to teach Qigong?
Perhaps one class a week for all those hopeful mothers having fertile eggs implanted that week, or for expectant mothers to come for a few weeks in advance. This would be a great service and a regular gig. Some of the acupuncturists in our class were already working with fertility clinics! They just didn’t have a program or approach, which they were getting from us.
In our school we can supply both acupuncturists and Qigong teachers. You needn’t be an acupuncturist to offer strong support. If any Qigong Apprentices would like to pursue this, I would be happy to put together our Qigong fertility program for the foundation to offer online, showing what & how to work with Western implantation, and to coach how to approach clinics, and work out possible arrangements. Having the Foundation behind us is really professional backup.
